  • Employment Information: Department assignment, shift availability, work schedule, and role within the organization.

  • Communications: SMS messages sent and received through the application, including broadcast messages and acknowledgment responses.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your employee account and scheduling profile.
  • Facilitate shift scheduling, availability tracking, and workforce management.
  • Send SMS notifications regarding schedules, availability requests, policy updates, and operational broadcasts.
  • Track message delivery and acknowledgment for operational communications.
  • Improve and maintain the functionality of our application.

4. SMS Messaging

By providing your phone number and using CartJockeys, you consent to receive SMS messages related to your employment, including but not limited to: schedule notifications, availability requests, broadcast messages from supervisors and administrators, and policy update alerts. You may acknowledge messages by replying as instructed. Standard messaging rates from your carrier may apply. Message frequency varies based on scheduling activity.

5. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

  • Within your organization: Your name, availability, and schedule may be visible to supervisors and administrators within your assigned department.
  • Service providers: We use third-party services such as Twilio for SMS delivery and Supabase for data storage. These providers are bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law or in response to valid legal processes.

6. Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal information. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored in secure, access-controlled databases. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Employee accounts may be deactivated rather than deleted to maintain scheduling history and operational records. If you wish to have your data removed, please contact your administrator.

  • Request deletion of your personal information, subject to operational and legal retention requirements.
  • Opt out of non-essential communications.

CartJockeys is intended for use by employees of participating organizations. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Some users may be minors (ages 14+) employed in accordance with applicable labor laws; their information is collected and used solely for employment scheduling purposes with appropriate organizational authorization.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the updated policy within the application. Your continued use of CartJockeys after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
