Golf pro shop opening and closing checklist
A starting checklist with an owner, completion time, and a place to record exceptions.
Editable CSV · No account required · Sample content to adapt to your course. Download a fresh copy and replace example shifts and roles before using it.
How to use it
- Walk through one real opening and closing with the people who do the work.
- Replace these examples with your course’s approved procedures. Keep access codes and security details out of shared worksheets.
- Give each task an owner and a clear definition of complete. Separate checks that need supervisor verification.
- Record exceptions and who will resolve them; a checked box should not hide a broken cart or missing supply.
- Review the checklist after a week and remove duplicate or unclear tasks.
Example from a course workday
If a cart cannot be charged at closing, record the cart identifier, the issue, and the next-shift owner. The opening lead can plan around it instead of discovering it at first tee time.
