CartJockeys · Free course operations worksheet
Golf course weekly staffing template
Plan coverage for carts, range, pro shop, and grounds before assigning names to shifts.
Editable CSV · No account required · Sample content to adapt to your course. Download a fresh copy and replace example shifts and roles before using it.
How to use it
- Start with demand: first tee time, expected rounds, tournaments, and department opening hours.
- List every shift and the coverage needed before assigning staff. Replace the sample hours with your own.
- Check each worker’s current availability, role training, and approved time off. Review hours against your course policies.
- Mark uncovered shifts explicitly and give each gap an owner. Publish one current version to the crew.
- Log changes and recheck coverage when a worker requests a substitute.
Example from a course workday
A Saturday tournament can change both cart preparation and range coverage. Add those shifts first so they do not disappear inside an ordinary weekend schedule.
